Wow, wow, wow!! Niranjan, I'd been waiting for these ever since I learnt you were going to witness the Maha Kumbhmela. I'm so glad you took advantage of the opportunity to go attend this large gathering; so glad you brought back such telling shots. I must say, thank you for showing us these sights. There'll be more posts, alle? :)

You are fortunate to visit this place. I had tickets for tomorrow 22 feb , But due to some reason got cancelled. Heart Break but managing darshan via your blog . Nice Shares.Beautiful pictures.
excellent capture keeping the kaleidoscope of color vibrant evocative memorable ..liked the painted faces of the sadhus and the drying sarees the most ..
very very nicely taken....each capture has a different story to say..colourful and yet so saffron.... amazing...I too took a holy dip on the mauni amawasya day... just everything got refreshed !! amazing pictures !!
I wish colors like that were more common where I live. Everyone dresses in grey, brown and black (especially this time of year) and it's just so sad. If only we could bring more color here, people might be less grumpy all the time!
Smashing images.
